For this purpose a specialized department was created to coordinate interventions, keeping direct contact with national and local authorities in the affected areas, i.e. the bodies coordinating emergency response. We have also participated in actions on diocesan and national level, coordinated by the Caritas Romania Confederation. The department has also contributed to the management of migration-related situations. The department has special and periodically renewed stock of materials, with which it may intervene in cases of natural disasters, fires, or other emergency situations. We accept material or cash donations from private or legal persons sensitive to these situations at any time. And we also count on the contribution of volunteers.
