Under the guidance of Fr. Sándor Pék, the participants explored the social mission carried out by the Catholic Church through Caritas, in the context of the 2025 Holy Year, which bears the motto “Spes non confundit” (Hope does not disappoint).
During a solemn Holy Mass celebrated in the chapel of St. Joseph, they also joined Caritas staff in prayer. The Mass was offered for clergy and those in ministry.
The event was made even more special by the presence of Mag. Peter Zidar, a permanent deacon from Austria, who spent the entire day with us and also assisted during the Mass. He has been a faithful supporter of Caritas’s charitable work for decades, but to us he is more than a supporter — he is a good friend and a true colleague.
