The students were accompanied by technical teachers Johann Schmidt and Michael Sinawehl. For the first time, mathematics teacher Caroline Posch-Primes also joined the team; her husband and brother-in-law had both volunteered at Caritas Oradea 12 years ago. She shared that she had heard about the initiative from several colleagues and had long wished to visit Oradea — and now that she finally did, she was very happy.
During the June camp, six girls and thirteen boys installed drywall partitions and a multi-layered suspended ceiling on the first floor of the future social center. The costs of materials and student transportation were covered by Austrian permanent deacon Mag. Peter Zidar. We thank them for their work and look forward to welcoming the next team!
