On Monday, June the 28th , the Gabrielle Quartet held a summer concert in the asylum courtyard. Artists guided enthusiastic audiences from classical music to the world of opera, reaching to the rhythms of Cuban habaneras. During the performance, the elders enjoyed songs composed by Prokofiev, Brahms, Schubert, Shostakovich and Puccini in the performance of violinists Éva Costin, Boglárka Szekely and Gabriella Oláh, as well as Ichim Beáta (cello).
On Wednesday, 30 June, representatives of the Primary School of Art "II Rákóczi Ferenc" from Hajdámson (Hungary) performed with a varied music program. Popular songs and love songs from Satu Mare were the primary column of the show. Réka Botos, Renáta Csobán contributed individual performances, and Tamás Borsos recited a poem. The show ended with Aron's blessing in an elevated spirit.
The elderly audience was able to listen to the concerts on the balcony of the old people's home, respecting the rules of protection against the virus. Pleasant surroundings and touchingly beautiful music contributed to an unforgettable experience for the inhabitants of the institution, who, after the long quarantine periods of the previous year, were already thirsty for live music and social events.
